Singing a song in a native language has both advantages and disadvantages, difficulties and easy times. One easy thing about it is that you are used to it, you speak it normally. One bad thing about it is that others wont understand what you are saying. Also you may have a mouthful of words in one sentence, like russian for example. That means you can say less in one breath.
